Mission Be, Inc.

Mission Be, Inc. is not-for-profit that scaled nationally, implementing mindfulness-based social emotional learning programs in schools and communities. Mission Be offers mindful workshops in schools to students and teachers, as well as one on one and group coaching to children, parents and families focused on learning to be present, reduce stress, pay attention and improve peace and joy.

Our program is aligned with Next Generation Standard, the NYS Standards for Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and the NYS Standard for Mental Health, as well as anti-bullying legislation, such as DASA and PBIS.

Mission Be’s curriculum is rooted in neuroscience and designed to create positive learning environments, decrease student stress, increase student focus and decrease bullying, while creating a school-wide culture of compassion. Since 2013, Mission Be has brought our mindful education program to a total of 332 schools, trained thousands of teachers and reached over 339,000 children in 28 states and 11 nations.
